ITSPR Unit Context

The ITS Device Provisioning and Management (ITSPR) unit provides global communications and client services, products, and support for all member organizations across the World Bank Group. Services provided by ITSPR include audiovisual and videoconferencing, end-user device and mobility service provisioning for the entire World Bank Group, as well as coordination and implementation of AV/VC infrastructure projects in World Bank Group offices.

Position Overview:

This position is a part of the ITSPR unit under ITS Digital Workplace. The Agile Coach provides advanced SAFe Agile methodologies championing in adoption, results measurement and training. Additional responsibilities will include coaching of product managers and product owners to develop product vision, create the product goal and the product roadmap and their alignment with product backlog. Additionally, coaching of Product Owners in creating, refining, prioritizing and maintaining a healthy product backlog will be required.

Essential Job Functions:

•Orchestrate SAFe ceremonies, including PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, Inspect and Adapt, leading to improvement in cross-functional team collaboration and rapid delivery

•Established an Agile Center of Excellence (Agile CoE)

•Conduct Agile training sessions

•Utilize information radiators and agile metrics, including the features completion ratio; Iteration burndown charts, velocity charts, iteration reports, defects and bugs charts, cycle time and lead time to inspect progress and adapt for a continuous delivery of valuable service outcomes

•Lead scrum ceremonies, facilitate sprint planning, technical meetings, and Scrum events

•Identify and remove impediments and obstacles, escalating them when necessary as well as drive continuous improvement through encouraging adoption of technical practices, improving agile execution, and build skills and capabilities

•Optimize PI Planning events, to optimize planning time

Selection Criteria

•Master’s degree in business management or a related field with 5 years relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience with Scaled Agile Framework, Scrum, Kanban, coaching and mentoring

•Required certifications -SAFe Advanced Scrum Master, Generative AI for Project Managers, Certified Scrum Master, Project Management Professional (PMP)

•Proficiency in Scaled Agile Framework

•Proficiency in Program & Project Management, PI Planning

•Proficiency in additional Agile Frameworks – Scrum, Kanban, XP

•Competency in Agile Assessments & Survey Tools (NPS), Estimation Tool

•Expertise in tools such as SmartSheets, ADO

•Expertise in coaching and mentoring, conflict management and problem-solving

•Ability to thrive in an international organization with diverse employee base

•Must be a self-starter and a team player that takes pride in their craft.
