The ITS Business Administration Department (ITSBA) is a central pillar in the World Bank Group's IT, responsible for managing the business of ITS. ITSBA serves as a strategic catalyst, navigating IT transformation, endorsing agile and lean methodologies, and sculpting the IT workforce blueprint. It champions stringent governance, proactive risk management, and unwavering compliance with policies and standards, while also ensuring meticulous financial oversight of IT resources. ITSBA is the driving force behind organizational change and transformation efforts, instilling a culture of innovation and continuous learning. ITSPE Context
Within the ITS Vice Presidency, the ITSPE unit plays a vital role in ensuring that the ITS workforce is aligned with the WBG's strategic goals and priorities. ITSPE is responsible for four key areas: talent management, employee engagement, workforce management, and workplace management.
The position will report to the Senior IT Officer, Employee Engagement of ITSPE. The Employee Engagement Analyst role is crucial for fostering a positive work environment and ensuring that employees are motivated and committed to the organization's goals. This position requires a proactive approach to identifying and addressing engagement issues and a strong ability to work collaboratively across different teams and departments.
The position will report to the Senior IT Officer, Employee Engagement of ITSPE.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1.Employee Engagement Initiatives:
•Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement.
•Conduct surveys and analyze data to assess employee satisfaction and engagement levels.
•Organize and facilitate engagement activities, workshops, and events.
•Coordinate and support the execution of engagement activities, workshops, and events.
•Collect and analyze data from engagement surveys and other feedback mechanisms.
2.Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Programs:
•Support the planning and implementation of DEI initiatives.
•Assist in organizing DEI training sessions and awareness programs.
•Monitor and report on the progress of DEI initiatives.
3.Administrative Support:
•Provide administrative support to the Employee Engagement and DEI teams.
•Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes.
•Maintain records and documentation related to engagement and DEI activities.
•Provide support and advice to managers and senior staff on engagement-related issues.
•Work closely with HR Business Partners to address engagement challenges.
4.Communication and Coordination:
•Assist in developing communication materials to promote engagement and DEI initiatives.
•Coordinate with various departments to ensure alignment and participation in engagement and DEI programs.
•Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding engagement and DEI-related queries.
5.Data Management and Reporting:
•Manage databases and track metrics related to employee engagement and DEI.
•Prepare reports and presentations for management on engagement and DEI metrics and trends.
